Membership Notes
- The proposer, seconder and sponsor (if required) as well as the applicant must personally sign the application as well as printing their name in block capitals.
- The sponsor should complete the “Potential new members information sheet”.
- In the absence of letters of recommendation the Management Committee will not consider the application.
- The completed application should be forwarded to the Secretary who will post it on the Club noticeboard for at least 10 days and bring it to the next available Management Committee meeting.
- Junior members are those aged between 8 and 17 years. They must be duly proposed and seconded by parents or persons who will accept responsibility for the candidate's behaviour. No sponsor is required. No person can act in loco parentis for more than 4 children in addition to their own, if any.
- On reaching the age of 18 years, a Junior member must apply for election to youth membership. Similarly children who reach the age of 10 must apply for Junior membership.
- All age categories are governed by the age of a member at 1st January of the season concerned.
- The registration fee and subscription rates are detailed on the enclosures accompanying the Constitution and Rules of the Club, as are the fees charged for boats berthed on the Club accommodation or moored on Wroxham Broad.
- Registration fees and subscriptions are due with this application form. Subsequent subscriptions and mooring fees are due annually on the 1st January of each year.
- In the event of non-election, monies accompanying this application will be refunded.
