Four days of fun and celebrations to mark the very special occasion of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, this is set to be a very popular weekend, please book early so you avoid missing out! Members and Non Members are invited to join us with a variety of on and off the water events. Don't miss out on our Diamond Jubilee Gold Cup (usually run on the last Sunday of Wroxham Week)... For one year only we will be running this race on Tuesday 5th June!

Details of NBYC's Diamond Jubilee Celebrations

Saturday 2nd June - One of the most spectacular sights you could see in a long while... SEVEN OF THE LAST REMAINING WHERRIES will be visiting Norfolk Broads Yacht Club, not to be missed! Lunch and a drink will be available for just £10.75pp (please see our booking form) The programme for the Wherry Day is as follows;

1100 Arrival

1130 Informal Wherry Sailing

1230 Lunch

1330 Short Ceremony (5 minutes)

1400 Informal Wherry Sailing

1515 Afternoon Tea and Farewells

1615 Wherries Depart

 

Sunday 3rd June - Don't miss our JUBILEE STREET PARTY celebrations, a fantastic take on very British food, you won't be dissapointed! Beginning at 7.30pm, this will be a very popular event so please book early (See our booking form above).

 

Monday 4th June - It's time to... PARTY AT THE PALACE! Enjoy delicious BBQ food as we join the Palace festivites, watch as we light our Jubilee Beacon at 10pm.

 

Tuesday 5th June - FOR ONE YEAR ONLY WE PRESENT NBYC's DIAMOND JUBILEE GOLD CHALLENGE CUP! The highlight of our racing season, usually run at the end of Wroxham Week, has been moved for this year only to 2.30pm on Tuesday 5th June. Enjoy traditional afternoon tea for just £6.75pp (see our booking form for details)
